Cook Forest, PA

WELCOME TO MacBeth's Cabins

For almost 100 years and 4 generations, MacBeth's Cabins has offered time honored hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere to our guests. MacBeth's has become like a second home to families and friends for decades.  We invite you to experience it for yourself.

Northwestern Pennsylvania is an outdoor recreational paradise.  With the 513,000 acre Allegheny National Forest, adjoined both by Clear Creek State Park and our very own Cook Forest State Park, recreational opportunities are almost limitless. Hiking, biking, skiing, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, boating, tubing, canoeing, fishing, hunting, wildlife spotting, horseback riding and just plain enjoying the scenic views of pristine nature, are amongst the things you will find here.

MacBeth's Cabins are situated on the Wild and Scenic designated Clarion River, less than 1 mile from the Forest Cathedral Natural Area, quite possibly Pennsylvania's finest and largest intact old-growth forest.
MacBeth's Cabins can serve as your base camp for exploring the 7,182 acre Cook Forest State Park, or any of the many other recreational areas within an hour's drive.  We provide the security of comfortable, rustic lodging, complete with many of the modern creature comforts you are used to at home.

Our Cabins

We were one of the first and remain one of the best log cabin vacation rentals in Cook Forest.  With 29 cabins, literally hundreds of thousands of people have enjoyed staying at MacBeth's.

Our cabins are uniquely located among the old growth hemlock and pines of Cook Forest State Park and adjacent to the Wild and Scenic designated Clarion River.  You can almost fish from your porch in some of our cabins while at the same time gazing at old growth trees!

Our Store

MacBeth's Store has been a recognizable landmark in Cook Forest State Park for many, many years.  For many people it is THE place to meet and coordinate the days activities.  Open daily early in the morning and late into the evening, our friendly staff are here to give you directions, help you get your fire started, gear you up with supplies for the day, or just offer you a comfortable bench to relax and watch passerby.
